10 Things You Must Do in Denver This Fall

10 Things You Must Do in Denver This Fall Presented by American Coach Limo

10 Things You Must Do in Denver This Fall
While still encountering beautiful temperatures in Denver this time of year, the fall charm is beginning to fill the air as September is here! Did you know that Denver's fall months are filled with the City's greatest events? While it's not fall yet, the buzz in and around the city is that we're all excited for the cool crisp air, chai tea lattes, and getting up to the mountains for those spectacular views. From the taste of the local pumpkin brews to the leaves changing colors, these are just some of the must do events that help you get into the spirit of the season!
#1. To kick things off, A Taste of Colorado wraps up the summer season to celebrate food, community pride, music and much more. On September 2 - 5, enjoy the local food that fuels our City's tastebuds.
# 2. In our very own expo halls, The Colorado Fall Home Show helps you remodel, refresh and renew your home. Who doesn't need a refresher after spending the time in the mile high outdoors all summer? Mark those calendars for September 9 - 11 or get tickets now here.
# 3. October Fest. The name says it all. Who doesn't love immersing themselves in a German tradition? On September 23 - 25, September 30 - October 2, Octoberfest lives on in the Mile High City!
# 4. Another fall tradition that is known as the largest beer festival in the country takes the fourth spot on this list. Great American Beer Festival (GABF) takes place on October 6-8 for those of you with the golden ticket. If you have a ticket to GABF, congrats you got one of the fastest selling tickets in the City. If not, there's always next year.  In 2016 alone, there are more than 800 breweries, 3,800+ beers and 60,000 attendees expected. That calls for a cheers!
# 5. For those of you still bummed you couldn't get the hottest ticket in town, no worries, Denver Beer Fest is taking place on September 30 - October 8. This event is a citywide celebration of all things beer in Denver. Best part, this event supports all the local breweries with events you cant miss. Check it out and see you on the town experiencing our City's hops.
# 6. Throwing in some laughs to go along with those fall brew releases, you can't pass up an evening or two of comedy. On October 1st, spend some time with the host of the Daily Show, Trevor Noah. Presented by the Zarlengo Foundation, you can't miss this evening of comedy! Can't make it, on October 15th, The Festival of Laughs with Mike Epps presents an evening of unforgettable laughs while the kids stay home with grandma and grandpa creating their costumes for Halloween. After Halloween, give the kiddos something to look forward to with other shows like Wild Kratts Live on November 20 and PAW Patrol Live on December 17/18.
# 7. Keep in mind that these are in no particular order because next up is one of our favorites and can be experienced all over the City. The changing leaves is an event timed by where you are elevation wise in the state of Colorado. With five different climate zones, pick your elevation, bring your camera and immerse yourself. Can you guess one of our personal favorites? It involves a little orange and "Blue" outside the convention center. As you know, bears love the cooler temps so we can assume Blue Bear loves this fall event as well!
# 8. In the mood for some Ghoulish events? Fright Fest, Pumpkin Fest, Boo at the Zoo, Denver Zombie Crawl are just a few. Check them all out here
# 9. This event is a fall event that not only prepares you for what's ahead but also saves you money. Another event taking place in our very halls, The Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo on November 4 - 6 is your one stop shop for deals on skis, snowboards, equipment, and you name it!
# 10. Last but not least, the taste of all the fall foods make us feel warm and cozy and so will this guy. Another hot ticket in the city just because it's Anthony Bourdain, did you hear us right? Yes, Anthony Bourdain's Hunger Tour kicks off this fall in North America and Denver is on the list. On November 18 at Bellco Theatre here at the center, this event is a must see. Hungry yet?

10 Best Colorado Ski Resorts

when you need SKI RESORTS TRANSPORTATION only think of American Coach Limo

The 10 best ski resorts in Colorado encompass a wide range of slopes, terrain and activities for beginners, experts and even non-skiers. The resorts hope for the perfect balance of snow: Enough to cover the slopes, but not so much that people can't get to the mountain. But with 55 peaks higher than 14,000 feet in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's unlikely that you'll find it difficult any time to make it to one of these great Colorado ski resorts. Here they are, listed alphabetically.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Aspen

Four ski areas with more than 320 ski runs and a ritzy reputation make this Colorado ski resort a worldwide magnet for celebrities and ski enthusiasts alike.
Be sure to check out: The nightlife; there's no telling which celebrity might be shaking his or her booty on the dance floor.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Beaver Creek
Of the 10 best ski resorts in Colorado, this is the youngest, having opened in 1980. It's since grown to more than 1,800 acres of skiable area.
Be sure to check out: The shops, restaurant, bars and art galleries in Beaver Creek Village.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Breckenridge
Sure you can hit the slopes at this legendary Colorado ski resort, but you might want to also tour the Country Boy mine or go dogsledding with a team of Siberian Huskies.
Be sure to check out: The Breckenridge Brewery & Pub for hearty food and some of the best hand-crafted beer in the country.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Keystone
Recently expanded terrain parks make this Colorado ski resort a top destination for everyone from beginning to expert snowboarders. There's plenty for skiers of all skill levels as well, with 116 trails on more than 3,000 acres of skiable area.
Be sure to check out: The Summit House on the peak of Dercum Mountain, where you can enjoy an affordable meal or sip hot chocolate or an adult beverage in comfort at 11,640 feet above sea level.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Purgatory (Durango)
Despite its ominous name, a family-friendly atmosphere permeates this Colorado ski resort, with plenty of activities for children and teens. Of course, experts have plenty to choose from as well, such as tree-skiing runs and two terrain parks.
Be sure to check out: Moonlight snowshoe tours.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Steamboat Springs
This Colorado ski resort town has produced 69 Winter Olympians, more than any other town in North America. Perhaps its 2,965 acres of permitted ski terrain has something to do with that.
Be sure to check out: Mountaintop evening dining at one of the resort area's three restaurants that you'll need to ride on a gondola to enjoy.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Silverton
Beginners need not apply at this Colorado Ski Resort. The highest ski area in North America requires all lift riders to be outfitted with avalanche gear. Its "easiest run" has a 35-degree slope; 30 degrees is considered steep at other resorts.
Be sure to check out: The Montanya Distillers tasting room in town, where you can sample the craft distillery's small-batch rums.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Telluride
The longest run at this Colorado ski resort is the 4.6-mile "Galloping Goose." But don't let that scare you off if you're a novice: Twenty-three percent of its 125 total trails are beginner level.
Be sure to check out: The Eco Adventures Program, which offers such activities as snowmobile tours, ice climbing and heli-skiing.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Vail
This is the largest of the 10 best Colorado ski resorts – in fact, at more than 5,000 acres, it's the largest in the United States.
Be sure to check out: The Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum and Hall of Fame.

Best Colorado Ski Resorts: Winter Park
This is the closest of the 10 best Colorado ski resorts to the Denver, and therefore one of the most popular with locals. The resort makes its snow early in the season to guarantee a pre-Thanksgiving opening.
Be sure to check out: The helmet cam rentals, so you can bring home DVD of a your-eyes-view of your adventures, taken from a camera strapped to your goggles.
